CL 1: EGO AWARENESS
By the end of this course you will:
* Understand the anatomy and purpose of the ego
* Recognize the development of the ego and how it contributes to limiting belief patterns
* Identify and manage ego defense mechanisms and increase emotional intelligence
* Develop self-control and regulation in response to ego depletion
* Explore the science of consciousness and how it affects our perceptions of reality
* Discover the benefits of mindfulness, dreaming, and altered states of consciousness
* Gain insight into ego death, plant medicine, and psychedelics as tools for personal growth and transformation
CL 2: HEALING THE SOMATIC BODY
By the end of this course you will:
* Develop an understanding of the foundations and science of embodiment and somatics for healing
* Explore the sensory experience in the body, mind, and soul
* Gain awareness of indigenous and modern schools of thought on the body and their relation to spiritual philosophies
* Learn fundamental lessons on human anatomy and the nervous system
* Discover the science of senses and stimuli and how they impact the bodyUnderstand the dynamics of pain and how it relates to the body
* Practice somatic exercises to enhance body awareness and promote healing
* Understand the human stress response and how it affects the bodyExplore the body map of emotions and how they impact overall well-beingIdentify bodily paths to spiritual awakening through mindful movement and breath practices.
CL 3: EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE
By the end of this module, you will:
*Gain knowledge about the History and Mechanics of drums and percussion instruments.
*Learn drum circle practices and techniques. *Implement best practices for individual and group drumming sessions.
*Facilitate call and response exercises using drums.
*Enhance gross motor control and fine motor skills through physical rhythm and timing. *Analyze and implement diverse drumming techniques.
*Develop a strong foundation in rhythm and its practical applications.
*Utilize universal drumming patterns for therapeutic interventions.
*Recognize how percussion and rhythm impact brain dynamics and perception, entrainment and neuroplasticity.
*Understand the significant role of drums in traditional indigenous medicine.
*Differentiate drums from various cultures around the world.
CL 4: UNDERSTANDING THE SHADOW SELF
By the end of this course you will:
* Understand the origins of the shadow self in spiritual and concepts of good and evil
* Learn about the creation of the False Self, including repression and the ego
* Identify personal shadows and their impact on behavior and relationships
* Explore projections and the manifestation of shadows in personal and professional relationships
* Understand the body as the shadow, including how disease, illness, and sexuality are related to shadow work
* Analyze the relationship between success, achievement, and shadows in the workplace
* Investigate the shadow in religion, spirituality, and the collective
* Identify and process disowned aspects of the self, including guilt, blame, shame, jealousy, and anger, in order to integrate them into the whole self.
CL 5: SELF CARE PRACTICES
By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the importance of energetic hygiene and its impact on overall health and well-being
* Learn about self-care science, including the principles of self-discipline and self-study
* Understand the principles of physical exercise and movement to achieve tangible health goals, disease prevention, and improved performance
* Analyze the science of sleep, rest, and stillness in promoting optimal physical and mental health
* Practice meditation techniques and develop self-discipline to enhance mindfulness and relaxation
* Develop self-study skills and understand the power of intention in creating a balanced life
* Explore strategies for choosing happiness and developing stress coping mechanisms
* Learn techniques for energy cleansing and spiritual alignment to promote inner peace and harmony.
CL 6: CONSCIOUS RELATIONSHIPS AND BOUNDARIES
By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the relationship science and its impact on our first relationships
* Learn about the need to belong and the attachment behavioral system
* Analyze romantic relationships and explore strategies for choosing a compatible mate
* Understand the relationship between relationships and health, including mortalityIdentify physical and physiological boundaries in relationships
* Explore the concept of the inner child and age regression in relationships
* Develop skills for giving and receiving in relationships
* Learn about the characteristics of healthy boundaries and how to establish them
* Understand the dynamics of triangulation and co-dependence in relationships
* Analyze the basic dynamics and core issues in relationships for improved communication and understanding.
CL 7: CONSCIOUS COMMUNICATION
By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the mechanics of communication, including the elements and process of sending and receiving messages
* Develop conscious intention and attention in giving and receiving messages
* Learn to perceive others' emotions and express emotions effectively in communication
* Develop active listening skills for improved communication
* Understand and practice verbal and nonverbal communication techniques
* Learn strategies for managing conflicts and power dynamics in communication
* Analyze the communication climate and its impact on relationships, including cultural differences
* Understand and develop positive self-talk for improved self-esteem and communication
* Explore interpersonal relationship dynamics and develop skills for effective communication in relationships
CL 8: DEATH AND TRANSFORMATION
By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the concept of attachment and loss, including the psychological and emotional impact of losing someone or something we are attached to
* Learn about the stages of grief and the grieving process
* Identify common myths about loss and explore strategies for coping with loss
* Analyze the physical and relational effects of loss, including how it affects our behavior and relationships
* Understand the importance of choosing to recover and transform in the aftermath of loss
* Create a loss history graph and complete loss to gain a deeper understanding of the grieving process
* Create a relationship graph and identify recovery components to move forward in healthy ways
* Learn to identify pain and undelivered communication in order to release negative emotions and promote healing
* Practice the 9-point Tibetan death meditation as a tool for processing grief and accepting the impermanence of life.
CL 9: TRAUMA INFORMED DELIVERY
By the end of this module you will:
* Understand the definition of trauma and the principles of trauma-informed care
* Learn how to recognize trauma in oneself and others
* Understand the impact of trauma on the brain, stress responses, and the nervous system, including recognizing triggers
* Analyze the core concepts of trauma-informed care, including safety, trust, collaboration, empowerment, and choice
* Develop grounding techniques for safety in the body and reducing symptoms of trauma
* Learn strategies for empowerment, including asking questions, encouraging agency, and the power of choice
* Understand the delivery and application of trauma-informed care, including effective communication and the use of intuitive information
* Explore the concept of secondary trauma and compassion fatigue, including how to mitigate their impact through self-care strategies.
