JULY: Global Beats-World Rhythm Camp
Travel the world through rhythm and sound in this three-day camp! Children will explore diverse musical traditions, global drumming, and rhythmic patterns while engaging in sound therapy, mindful movement, and expressive arts. By immersing in world rhythms and cultural music practices, campers develop coordination, listening skills, creativity, and social connection.
A dynamic and interactive experience that encourages cultural appreciation, musical expression, and holistic growth in young learners.

About the instructor:
Victor Nani K. Agbeli is a Ghanaian cultural educator specializing in traditional African music, dance, and cultural studies. Through drumming, movement, singing, storytelling, and creative projects, Nani helps students connect to history, culture, and self-expression in an engaging and age-appropriate way. His curriculum-centered approach supports creativity, cultural awareness, and community-building in educational settings.
Iris Noheamaikalani Paras Magboo (Kumu Nohea) is a hula practitioner and educator based in Southern California. With nearly 20 years of study and teaching, she completed her ʻūniki rites in Kahana Valley, Oʻahu, and now carries the kuleana of Kumu Hula. Her work weaves hula, storytelling, Hawaiian language, and cultural grounding to help students connect movement with meaning in an accessible and joyful way.
