Dive into a four-day cultural and musical adventure! Children will explore the rhythms, melodies, and traditions of West African music and arts, woven throughout activities in sound therapy, mindful movement, and expressive arts. Through drumming, Kora-inspired music, dance, and cultural storytelling, campers will develop coordination, emotional awareness, social skills, and creative expression.

Integrating West African arts and culture fosters cultural appreciation, rhythmical intelligence, and teamwork, supporting holistic cognitive, emotional, and social development. This camp offers a vibrant, hands-on experience that nurtures curiosity, confidence, and connection—both to self and community.

About the instructor:

Victor Nani K. Agbeli is a Ghanaian cultural educator specializing in traditional African music, dance, and cultural studies. Through drumming, movement, singing, storytelling, and creative projects, Nani helps students connect to history, culture, and self-expression in an engaging and age-appropriate way. His curriculum-centered approach supports creativity, cultural awareness, and community-building in educational settings.
