About Your Mentor
EMBODIED ALIGNMENT was created by Janelle Corpuz Hethcoat, founder of KIN Unified Institute of Sound (est. 2019), an Institute of Sound Therapy recognized by AHNA, AHNCC, and Saybrook University.
Janelle built KIN from the ground up and kept it growing through the uncertainty of the COVID era. Today, KIN is on track for $400K+ in gross revenue in 2026.
Beyond KIN, Janelle has founded and led ventures across education and community. She created KIN Academy, a children's sound therapy program partnered with Montessori early education. She co-founded Kailukuan School of Indigenous Science (est. 2021), a culturally rooted education model. She also launched Tiendaan Night Market, a community market built around local vendors.
She doesn't stop at teaching. She creates. Janelle coded and released her own app, KIN Resonance Lab, and turned her method into protected intellectual property with a patent-pending specification for crystal singing bowls.

How the Mentorship Works
10 Private 1:1 Sessions
Every session is one-on-one with Janelle, scheduled around your calendar, in person in [location] or on Zoom.
Seven sessions follow the core curriculum. Each one combines guided teaching, real-time implementation, and direct feedback on your business, so you leave with finished work and clear next steps.
The other three sessions focus on whatever your business needs most: funding, platform decisions, partnerships, brick-and-mortar planning, or personal branding.

7 Self-Paced Digital Lectures
Each core session comes with a recorded lecture you can watch on your own time. The lectures prepare you for your session and support your homework between sessions, so your time with Janelle goes toward your business, not the basics.

Non-Refundable Enrollment Policy
All tuition payments and deposits for EMBODIED ALIGNMENT are non-refundable.
Because enrollment is limited to 6 mentees, each accepted mentee holds a reserved place and dedicated mentorship time that cannot be offered to anyone else. Enrolling is a financial commitment to the full program.
By submitting payment, mentees acknowledge and agree that:
- Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Tuition is non-refundable under any circumstances, including illness, personal emergencies, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances.
- Missed or unused sessions do not release the mentee from financial obligation.
- Payment plans are binding agreements and must be completed whether or not sessions are attended.
If a mentee cannot continue, remaining tuition may be applied to a future KIN offering only if written notice is given at least 60 days in advance. Requests are not guaranteed and need administrative approval.
