KIN SOUND THERAPY

Sound Therapy is KIN’s foremost curriculum for the development, understanding and mastery of the use of sound for physiological, emotional and subtle energy body healing. Through the research of the medical effects of acoustic resonance on the brain and nervous system, the effects of rhythm and entrainment on the visceral organs, combined with an in depth understanding and application of music theory in regards to crystal singing bowls, drum healing and voice healing, KIN Sound Therapy prepares individuals to use their knowledge of sound for the purpose of one on one sessions, group sound bath facilitation, and to confidently design their own sound interventions for deep meditation and recovery. 

 BY THE END OF THIS CURRICULUM YOU WILL: 
- Develop an understanding of the use of sound for physiological, emotional and subtle energy body healing. 
- Study the medical effects of acoustic resonance on the brain and nervous system, and the effects of rhythm and entrainment on the visceral organs. 
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of music theory in regards to crystal singing bowls, drum healing, and voice healing. 
- Learn to use sound for one-on-one healing sessions and group sound bath facilitation. - Develop the ability to design and lead their own sound journeys for deep meditation and recovery. 
- Confidently apply knowledge of sound healing in professional practice.

In this module, you will achieve the following: 
*Understand the History and Mechanics of Sound healing. *Differentiate between Vedic and Tibetan Systems of Sound Healing. 
*Define the 5 Principles of Sound Healing and distinguish Types of Vibration. 
*Comprehend the effects of Sound on the Brain and Nervous System.  
*Learn and apply the Chromo Nyasa Sound Technique. 
*Utilize the Circle of Fifths in Sound Healing. 
*Analyze harmonic and dissonant pairings for optimal use. *Explore Crystal Bowls Technology, including Hz Frequencies. *Learn to Play and Tune your Bowls effectively. 
*Assess the individual client or group needs for sound healing sessions. 
*Create and Design best practice solutions for sound healing sessions.
By the end of the module, you will: 
*Discover and utilize the power of your voice. 
*Differentiate the use of the voice in indigenous traditional medicine. 
*Understand the medical evidence supporting the application of vocal use. 
*Develop techniques for breath and oral motor facilitation. 
*Gain insight into the mechanics of voice, ear, and brain. 
*Apply vocal techniques for somatic releasing. 
*Facilitate simple body and vocal warmups. 
*Create vocal vibrato.Explore and utilize the four voices. 
*Identify and expand your vocal range. 
*Understand the use of psychoacoustic notes in non-verbal expression. 
*Enable vocal expression in both one-on-one and group settings. *Develop the ability to convey natural emotions through vocalization. 
*Promote the recognition and appreciation of the tangible and intangible aspects of the voice.

KIN SOUND THERAPY PRACTITIONER CERTIFICATION 

Module 2: M ultidimensional Voice

By the end of this module, you will: 
*Gain knowledge about the History and Mechanics of drums and percussion instruments. 
*Differentiate drums from various cultures around the world. *Understand the significant role of drums in traditional indigenous medicine. 
*Recognize how percussion and rhythm impact brain dynamics and perception, entrainment and neuroplasticity. 
*Develop a strong foundation in rhythm and its practical applications. 
*Utilize universal drumming patterns for therapeutic interventions. 
*Enhance gross motor control and fine motor skills through physical rhythm and timing. 
*Analyze and implement diverse drumming techniques. *Facilitate call and response exercises using drums. 
*Learn drum circle practices and techniques. 
*Implement best practices for individual and group drumming sessions.
